I haven't found a place to go through Jone's game-by-game stats, but I have gone through the month of March and counted four appearances by Jason Jones.

March 6 - Vs. Cincinnati
Jones pitched the 5th and 6th innings, giving up one hit. He struck out one.

March 9 - @ Tampa Bay
Jones pitched the 7th. He gave up one hit, and struck out one. He also walked one.

March 13 - Vs. Cincinnati
Jones pitched the 7th and gave up no hits, no runs, no walks. He didn't strike anyone out.

March 16 - Vs. Baltimore
Jones pitched the 3rd and 4th innings, giving up one run on four hits. He walked none and struck out none.

Generally, I would say that Jason Jones is being inserted late in the game to face some of the younger guys. He has surrendered only one run in March, and that one outing was when he pitched the 3rd and 4th innings - still against the regulars.

Hope that helped!

Jason Jones looks like he has been pitching alright too. Is he actually throwing well, or is he being brought in against younger guys?
