I don't think I would go for it, I think Atkins is overrated and wouldn't be a big enough boost to give up Delmon. Last year may have been an abberation, but his OPS+ was 97. Delmon's was 102. Brian Buscher's was 100, in limited duty. Delmon is much younger and has much more room to get better. Atkins had a monstrous year in 2006, a decent year in 2007, and was mediocre last year. David,

The Twins would send (at least) Young to the Rays who would send either Sonnanstine or Jackson to the Rockies as a way of facilitating Atkins to the Twins!
