Thanks for the comment, Thrylos98. The bottom line is that it would be best if one outfielder left. It is almost pure opinion when deciding which one.

As to the draft picks, where did you find that out? I’ve heard a couple of people now say that you can trade them as soon as they sign.

The only problem with this is that Young has more power hitting potential than Escobar and actually is more of a power hitter right now. He is (at least – nobody knows Escobar’s actually age) 3 years younger and last year he has a higher SGL% and isoP than Escobar.

Escobar would be a great addition but Young would be too much. I would not trade them 1-1. If the Twins could pull something like Perkins and Cuddyer (eat some of his salary) and Humber and others for Escobar, it would be great. Bur Young should stay.

JA, well, both have almost identical lines but Escobar fills a hole while Delmon contributes to the log-jam. There is a very real possibility that Young will be better than Yunel, but that’s a risk I might be willing to take.

Explain how Escobar can have more present value than Young, or even Blackburn for that matter? Both would be silly. Prehaps a Young + pitching prospect would be okay, but not DY + Blackie.
